What we check at the survey
- Space and mounting. Wall or floor position, access and clearances as the datasheet requires.
- Ventilation. A dry, ventilated spot away from direct sun and water.
- Wiring and earthing. Cable size, protection and a proper earth for the unit.
- Backed-up circuits. A separate board so only the loads you choose are on the UPS.
- Solar. Roof space, shade and panel size if you plan to add panels.
- Changeover test. Switched and tested with you present, with circuits labelled.
